Jane Johannsen

Raised by two artists, I grew up surrounded by creativity and developed a lifelong love of the visual arts. In 2010, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Northwest Missouri State University. Since then, I’ve devoted my practice primarily to watercolor, playing with form, color, and light.

I spent many years in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and now reside in the Ozark Mountains. I continue to find inspiration in my surroundings; the vibrant flora and ever-changing colors of the landscape bring fresh perspective and energy to my work.
